Desert AIDS Project (D.A.P.) is a Federally Qualified Health Center in Palm Springs, CA that provides primary care, HIV and hepatitis specialty care, dental care, behavioral health services, social services, STD testing, a housing program and includes a clinical lab, pharmacy and a housing program in a campus setting. D.A.P.’s sexual health clinic, The DOCK, offers STD testing and treatment, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), and free HIV and HCV testing. On World AIDS Day 2015, The White House recognized the success of D.A.P.’s Get Tested Coachella Valley campaign as the nation’s first region-wide HIV testing and access to care initiative, to help bring about an AIDS-free future.
