Palm Springs Air Museum

About

The Palm Springs Air Museum is an amazing oasis for those thirsty for a unique venue! No other desert facility can provide today’s imaginative event planner with a more dramatically nostalgic site that will please even the most discriminating client. From a small dinner group of 50 to a large reception of several thousand people, the museum provides a dramatic backdrop for special events. The spacious 65,000 sq.ft. of air conditioned building is filled with flyable World War II aircraft. Guests can explore the hangars graced with some of the finest aviation art murals and exhibits, view a film in the Buddy Rogers Theater or browse the unique gift shop. Allow your imagination to soar as you decide on the theme for your event! Perhaps a USO Show, a MASH canteen, a South Pacific moonlit buffet, or an elegant formal black tie. The Palm Springs Air Museum is an ideal place to host your private event. Where else can you dine, surrounded by vintage aircraft. Events at the Palm Springs Air Museum are truly magical and unique! Whether a small group of 20, or a large gathering of several hundred to thousands, the Palm Springs Air Museum can accommodate you. The Museum has three hangars totaling 65,000 square feet of climate controlled interior space, plus another 40,000 square feet of exterior space on the Museum’s tarmac with fantastic views of the San Jacinto Mountains! Each of the larger hangars can accommodate a sit down, served dinner for up to 600 people. The outside hangar space is great for larger parties. The Palm Springs Air Museum is a living history museum dedicated to educating the public about the role Air Power played in preserving American liberties and way of life. The Museum preserves, exhibits, and flies aircraft from World War Two, Korea, and the Vietnam Wars. Most of the aircraft are in flyable condition. Many of our docents are veterans and are willing to share their experiences and sacrifices for the education of future generations. In addition to flyable and static aircraft, the Museum uses permanent and temporary exhibits, related artifacts, artwork, and library sources to perpetuate American History. Children 5 and under and all active military with ID (and their immediate families) receive free admission.
