Palm Springs Performing Arts

About

The Palm Springs Performing Arts, (PSPA) is organized to provide culture and education through music and fine arts that will engage and enrich social and cultural capacities in Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. The PSPA’s intention is to form and create various cultural programs and projects such as: The Palm Springs Orchestra (PSO), the annual Palm Springs Youth Spectacular, and The Palm Auditorium, in various phases over the next five years. The Palm Springs Orchestra with Maestro Dino Zonic will open the premiere season in 2015. The PSO will draw upon the unique qualities and characteristics of our desert community to showcase great works of orchestral music with uplifting performances set in beautiful locations beneath the stars. The Palm Springs Orchestra will act as a major promotional and fundraising tool to further promote the development and creation of the Palm Auditorium. In expanding our overall vision, one of the major focal points will be creating educational programs with annual performances combining all eligible Coachella Valley students to perform in one unified orchestra for the Palm Springs Youth Spectacular. Palm Springs is clearly going through a major economic and cultural renaissance, and we feel strongly that a city like ours deserves a world class Symphony and Performing Arts Center.
