The Laurel Foundation
The Laurel Foundation (a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1992) is designed to meet the unique social and emotional needs of vulnerable at-risk children and youth. Our campers are either affected by HIV/AIDS or transgender/gender non-conforming. Our programs empower youth to embrace who they are, build their self-esteem and find others navigating similar paths. Our professionals identify tools to help our kids enrich their lives so they may become independent, self-sufficient and productive citizens of society. he mission of The Laurel Foundation is to enrich and empower at-risk children, youth and families through diverse and educational camp experiences. Our population served is HIV/AIDS, transgender and other at-risk youth populations.
